Coral Reef Club is a truly magical place to stay. I have been going for many, many years and took my niece with me for the first time November 2011. This family owned & run hotel is so special. The staff are without exception lovely. Nothing is too much trouble, service is excellent and repeat and new guests are made... More

This was my 4th stay with the O'Haras at Coral Reef and I was not disappointed. My teenage son and I spent 8 days this Easter and we did not want to leave. The beautiful hotel, expert friendly staff and the many thoughtful extras provided by the family made it "the best holiday ever" according to my 16 yo. Exciting... More

We cannot wait to go back! A beautiful setting, fabulous staff and the equivalent of Michelin star dining every night. We truly don't recognise any of the negative comments posted here. We stayed last November (2011) for a fortnight - we're 40 ish and loved the colonial feel to the hotel (music and all). The staff were delightful and had... More

Relaxed and discreet, we were never left wanting. The private suites plantation style: white-washed, beamed ceilings, shutters and verandahs. Contemporary classic styling and furnishings, and embedded within flowered gardens and — simply sublime. Wandering along the pathways is like being in a lost world of sunshine, relaxation and nature. Indulge in water sports, or just sit on the verandah and... More

Dear roberto m: We read your review with horror and immediately started investigating, but no-one in management was aware of any guests checking out early. We then realised that you were still staying in the hotel and had not departed early and in fact had extended your stay. We were even more confused when we checked to see if there... More

As a single traveller it was with trepidation that I entered the restaurant on my first night. Everyone seemed to be in couples but the warmth of the staff and the kindness of the owners, at least one of whom were on site all the time, helped me to settle in. Nothing was too much trouble, rooms excellent, service discreet... More

This could be the best hotel on Barbados. Fabulous large site, spacious gardens, surprisingly good food for a Caribbean hotel (though you'll want to eat out most nights at the stunning local restaurants), quiet pools, big rooms etc... This is not Sandy Lane (which is so like any other 5 star hotel you could be anywhere), and carries a typical... More
