We have just returned from our first visit to Barbados and booked Westerlee villa after much discussion...we need not have worried this turned out to be a fantastic find. Dick and Carol made us feel most welcome and were perfect hosts whilst on the island, nothing was too much trouble and they helped us find our way around, sorted out... More

“Gingerbread Cottage was a wonderful experience”

Just returned from 12 nights staying at Gingerbread Cottage and really shouldnt tell the world about this little gem. What a wonderful and laid back place it was. With wife, daughter aged 8 and son 5 this was truly a relaxing way to to spend a family holiday together. The pool was right temp and deep maybe a tad too... More

“Gingerbread cottage is lovely”

My family of four really enjoyed our recent stay at the beautiful Gingerbread cottage outside of Holetown. It was every bit as charming and lovely as it is in the pictures, and the grounds were lush and beautiful. The owner has put a lot of work into the landscaping and it shows. “Absolutely fantastic!! The most adorable little cottage ...very private!”

The pictures for this cottage do not do it justice. The cottage overlooks horse paddocks in a valley that has a monkey feeding platform at the bottom. We woke up in the morning and were able to watch the monkeys from the wrap-around covered deck. We could also see the ocean from the deck. Westerlee also has a 1 bedroom... More
