My family and I booked this hotel at the last minute and during the booking, I had asked if the pool was open. The reservation agent confirmed that it was. I was concerned as I had read that the property is under going renovation work and the pool was closed during the first week of March. We arrived on March... More

I travel a lot. Some may say that I am a hotel snob as itend to lean toward the higher end of the hotel spectrum. This said there is one thing that consistently stands out for me when i travel whether to a 6 star resort or a travel motel and that is the staff. Elbow Beach have some of... More

This was our first trip to Bermuda and we stayed at the Elbow Beach. The views over the ocean are fantastic and a lot is being done to bring this hotel back to its original glory. The staff were friendly and courteous and were a good source of local information. There are good restaurants at the resort and others are... More

This beach has sand that literally feels like talcolm powder. I should have put some in a ziploc bag to bring home. The water is simply amazing in color; it's like turquoise with a touch of green. My photographs look as though I had a filter on the camera, but no, the color is truely the way you see it... More

A long-established, storied property in Bermuda, Elbow Beach has the setting, huge staff and central location to draw praise. We prefer this property to Fairmont’s hotels in Hamilton (urban and buttoned-up) and Southampton (a 1960’s-era apartment block far from the beach). My wife and I especially enjoyed beachfront dining in February and our spectacular suite, #851 in the Sea Grape... More

I stayed at Elbow Beach February 16 to the 20th. I was a little apprehensive about staying there because of some of the reviews but I was looking for a quick vacation so I decided to take the chance. I've been lucky enough to go on some great vacations over the past year; the Four Seasons in Arizona (great), the... More

Thank you for your comments. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you thought of your experience. Our sincere apologies for the less than satisfactory service you received from the Concierge and Front Desk. We have taken up the issues with our Front of House Manager and she has assured me that she has debriefed... More

This was our first time at Elbow Beach. We were pleased with our experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Premier Room Garden View. The rooms were big, quiet, clean. WI used a facecloth to put my apple on as I read it and then left it in the washroom. The next morning there were lots... More

Contemporary elegance with Bermudian charm. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who quickly learned our preferences during our week's stay. Stunning and central location. Recently renovated rooms are lovely, with gorgeous views and huge bathrooms. Spa and restaurant facilities rounded out a very memorable experience. Best beach walks on the island. Highly recommend this resort! More

This hotel has lots of things going for it, great beach and grounds, friendly staff and good accomodation, though there are a few minor bugs (in some cases literally) that take away from the overall luxury feel of the resort. I would suggest that the manager of the resort stays a few nights in one of his rooms, to iron... More

Thirty-eight years ago my husband and I honeymooned at the original Elbow Beach. I realize times change and to keep up with the times so must hotels. However it should be changes for the better not destroying a historic icon. My husband and I arrived at Elbow Beach over Labor Day Weekend.Registration was in the hotel which upon opening the...
