Previously had 2 excellent family meals. On this special family occasion for 4, had round trip of 28 miles for a very special family meal. Arrived at 19.30, by 20.30 still no food, had to ask waiter and were told our order had been lost and we would be given first priority for our starters. This clearly did not happen... More

Had Sunday lunch 2nd January which was superb. The Quality was excellent, the presentation was very unique and the taste was outstanding. We were greeted on arrival without any 'false' talk and the staff were very friendly, could not do enough. Very highly recommended - should not be missed.

We had been staying in Babel in a self catering cottage doing our own cooking. As a group of eight friends we chose to eat out for Sunday lunch as a treat and it was certainly that.
