I was thrilled to be able to get a room at this hotel, as it was recommended in "1,000 Places to See Before You Die." It is located in a perfect location if you're spending time in Sequoia National Park. But after a day of hiking and being exhausted, we were disappointed with the hotel. The welcome lodge is beautiful... More

Beautiful location. Rooms are average hotel rooms nothing fancy or special. Would had been nice to have patios or balcony's to sit out on to enjoy the nice evening. The rooms do not have AC just fans in the window, which we were lucky with cool temps the two days we were there but i could see that would be... More

I would agree with others that the main advantage of Wuksachi is its location. It is ideal for the close Big Forest , for Grant's Grove and King's River. But we were there in 87 degree and 75 degree weather. The facility has no air conditioning. The rooms have some exhaust fans which get the room near outside temperature by... More

We booked this lodge as we wanted to avoid the long drives between Three Rivers and the National Park during our visit. We booked a superior room. The check-in was friendly and fast and we were given a top floor room no. 330 in the Sequoia Building. As this is bear country we had to empty our car and carry... More

First of all, in case you don't know, let me tell you that hotels in national parks are not plentiful and are expensive where they do exist. So the price for a room at the Wuksachi does not compare favorably with other hotels, so you mustn't expect it to. My family just returned from a two week trek where we... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. It's a good lodge but somewhat expensive for the price. Rooms are spacious, beds are decent and they have decent furnishings. Services are good - we asked for extra pillows and blankets and they were delivered within 10 minutes.

After reading reviews, I was aware of some of the concerns but decided this was still the best option for our schedule. Oops. I had no idea just how family unfriendly we would find it. After driving and walking all day with 2 kids the last thing we wanted to do was sit down to dinner and did not realize... More

We booked in here for three nights. The main building is a great place to be and full of character so the bedrooms are going to be a disappointment! They are in separate blocks a few minutes away. It is expensive for what you get, but compare it with the competition prices and facilities it is relatively very good. The... More

In the heart of the National Park, real bear country. We stayed in the Silliman building a short walk to the main hotel & restaurant. The room was OK , average. But as there was no where else to go we were forced to eat at the hotel. Very disappointing service & food not very special. The hotel must improve this... More
