If you are in the Olympic National Park area and looking for a great oceanfront campground your search is over. This campground situated along highway 101 has won numerous awards for best scenic camping and you will see why. Great bluff view with stairs down to wide open beach. Bathrooms are clean and rangers regularly patrol. Great find and a... More

My girlfriend and I went out to kalaloch at the end of September because we just needed to get away. The weather said heavy rain and wind, and it was when we got there. The campground still had a lot of people in it but we still got a ocean front campsite right on the bluff. Everything about this place... More

Last week my husband and I went to Kalaloch for the first time. The sound of the ocean, the salty air, campfires, walks on the beach, etc. were a recipe for relaxation. We're already planning our next trip there! More

Who would guess that a campground that has 160 sites could be so peaceful. The sites are large and most of them heavily forested. The campground has several areas where stairs take you right down to the beach. There are hikes from the beach and no houses around to obstruct view. This campground you can reserve sites at, but I... More

My husband and I have been tent and RV camping here since we were married 33 years ago. We brought our children every year as our family grew. We love the beach, rain, wind and sun. As we prepare for our anual trip once more we anticipate over 25 family members to camp in the Kalaloch campground with us. We... More

I normally avoid car accessible campgrounds, but the overall feel and proximity to the ocean has definitely made this a destination of mine for future visits to the peninsula. I do recommend jumping online when the sites become available to assure a site with an ocean view; I unfortunately wasn't so lucky, but I still had a great time. The... More

Our beach cabin included 2 queen sized beds, a fireplace, a small refrigerator, a small stove, and kitchen with a few pots and pans for cooking. The breakfast/eating area had a very cute table with a view of the ocean. The cabin was simple, but very clean. The bathrooms needed a little work, but the view of the ocean more... More

Amazing!!! We traveled all over the west coast in July and camped from Nevada to Washington, and this was by far my favorite place. I had booked the site on the internet in March and wasn't really sure what to expect. The online description said "waterview", so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to see that the site was... More

We stayed at Kalaloch (pronounced Clay-lock) campground for 3 nights mid July and had a wonderful time. It is so breathtaking! If you are able to reserve early, be sure to get a site on the the outside of the "A" loop for larger sites and more privacy... by the time we reserved, we were only able to get A034... More
