We stayed in Cabin #3 just before Labor Day weekend. I made the booking online 6 months in advance. Having flown to CA from WA, we did not have camping gear with us and opted for the "camper's amenity package." It was terrific to have linens for the bed, a sleeping bag for our 4 year old, towels, a stove,... More

I stayed for two nights in October 2011. The cabins were the perfect way to enjoy the amazing national park-without having to deal with all of my camping gear. The weather was a bit chilly outside, but inside the cabin it was toasty. We had a great BBQ dinner on the campfire and went for a moon lit walk around... More

I just spent two nights in #15,,,and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The cabin was immaculate. Plenty warm and comfortable. The lake was just a short walk away. It was very quiet and peaceful....cabin 15 is set back probably farthest from the lake....right on the boundary with the campground...and arriving on Labor Day...it was like having the place to myself after... I would give the cabin a 4.5 if I could and completely recommend the cabins as an alternative to tent-camping at Lassen. They are cute, clean, quiet, and still new! They have propane heaters and locking doors. We spent 3 nights in a 2-room cabin (#13) over Labor Day Weekend. The "front row" cabins have the best peek-view of the... More

Our family of four (mom, dad/me, a 4 yr old and 6 yr,) plus two God Moms really enjoyed the cambins. We went in Mid July and thought the location of the cabins to the Lake was ideal. I was shocked by how quiet this campground was. There's a camper store with everything you need, showers are close, flush toilets,... More

We were on a trip with 70+ year old grandparents and 2 teenagers and spent 2 nights at the brand new (built in 2011) cabins at Lassen. I'm giving it 5 stars even though it's not a Four Seasons. But for those of us who braved through campgrounds with broken glass, dirty toilets and bathrooms where you don't want to... More

We just stayed for 2 nights and can't say enough about how wonderful the cabins are. Our group rented 2 cabins, one for our family with kids and one for a couple. Cabins 10 and 16 were the perfect pair because we cooked all of our meals together and the fire pit was between the cabins. The cabin was so... More

We got one of the bunkhouses which we drove in and booked on a Monday. It was a little pricey for the accomodations but that is to be expected for the convenience of being in the park. Bring your own bedding and if you need a restroom in the middle of the night keep you shoes and flashlight handy. This... More

I just returned from three nights camping with friends at the Manzanita Lake Cabins. This was our first trip to Lassen, and we all agreed that it was a fantastic experience. The camping cabins helped make it a great trip for us. Even though Manzanita Lake sits at the northern entrance to the park, it's as close to a hub... More

This is as relaxing as it can get at a Calfiornia National Park. The cabins are simple, clean, new, and maintained by people who love this place. We spent two nights in #3 cabin. After hiking the manzanita trail and then taking a 1.8 stroll around the lake, the cabin was a special place to rest and recoupe. The sunsets... More
