Our first trip to Alaska and we found the best! Top notch from the minute you get off the float plane. Service, experience, food....all exceptionally done. From learning to fly fish, kayaking along river, seeing bears up close, hiking trails to falls or viewing it all from mountain top. Can't put it into words the amazing experience you get in... More

We saw over 8 bears, which according to our Amazingly energetic, friendly and knowledgable guide is quite a lot. I will warn you, sometimes people only see one bear so it's just a matter of luck. You may also get to see some eagles too. The flight to the lodge is beautiful. The lodge is warm and they greet you... More

Redoubt Mountain Lodge was everything you dream of when you think of Alaska-remote location, abundance of wildlife, great fishing, and great people. After spending time looking at the photos on their website and Facebook page, we couldn't resist. I wanted to see bears, my husband wanted to fish. We got all of that and more. Heather and Ryan were great... More

My family stayed here for five days and had the best ending to our three week Alaskan adventure. The setting is simply stunning on Crescent Lake in Lake Clarke National Park, literally miles from anywhere. We flew in by float plane from Anchorage, the flight is just over an hour and the views as you land offer a tremendous start... More

The location of this lodge is truly away from it all and set in gorgeous scenery. We went primarily to see bear and we weren't disappointed even though it was a little early in the season. The lodge caters to everyone's wishes - bear viewing, hiking, kayaking and fishing but it's really all about the fishing. If this is your... More

Amazing lodge lost in the park, only accessible by float planes. No cell phone reception and almost no internet. I say "almost" because for those highly motivated people there is a cable you can hook your laptop to if you really think the world cannot exist without your checking your emails every single day :)....I checked....after a week with no... Highly recommend you bring a large capacity memory card for your camera. The photo opportunites are endles. I could go on and on about the waterfalls, the hiking, the bears, the fishing, and the mountains. The staff mixes professional and personal all in one. You don't have to be a professional fisherman to go here. My wife and two boys... More

My wife and I are fortunate enough to vacation 10 weeks per year, and have been all over the world. Redoubt Mountain lodge has been the best trip we ever went on! Breath-taking beauty of the Chigmit range, superb fishing, exciting Brown Bear viewing, cozy accommodations, first class fishing guides, very tasty meals, and the management by Ryan and Heather... My wife and I have traveled all around the U.S. in pursue of great fishing spots as well as scenic Americana, never have we found a place more hospitable and friendly as well as being more memorable not only because of the scenery (Alaska) but also because of the Staff and management accomplished by Heather and Ryan the Managers....On every... I found the complete Alaskan experience at Redoubt Mountain Lodge and it exceeded my expectations. Bringing my son for his first trip to Alaska and last adventure before his marriage Redoubt provided some absolutely great father-son life memories. From leaving Anchorage in a float plane, seeing stunning views in flight, landing on georgeous Crescent Lake with a grizzly in site... More
