My hasband and I have stayed at Blackwall in the past, but decided to try Seawall this time. We opted for a site that was set back, so we had to walk a little to get to our site. There wad hardly a soul there midweek, the week after Labor Day. It was great! My only complaint would be that... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in august with 2 couples. I should start off by saying that the layout here is pretty typical for drive-up, state park camping - meaning the sites are somewhat close together, but generally people respect that everyone is there for a little solitude and we very much felt like we had privacy (they also have... Excellent place for rest...Nice quiet campground away from touristic spots at south end of the island. Got there without reservation at 11 am on friday July 1st. Many places were still available. Lot of space on each site. Full shade. Some sites were too close together specially in the center of loops. Rangers are nice and welcoming. Saw some deers... More

I would give this campground five stars, but gave it four only for lacking showers. It's a great location. A previous reviewer mentioned it was too far away from the main area of the park and Bar Harbor. I preferred being removed from the crowds actually. The actual Seawall is a stunning landscape. My husband and I camped in the... More

I stayed for 3 night with my girlfriend here in a tent. It was a very nice campground and the park rangers were very nice too. It was equipt with plenty of parking space, a picnic table a fire pit with a GOOD grill grate to go over. There is plenty of water spigots in any direction and almost every... More

We stayed at the Seawall campground for 3 nights. It was the most inexpensive and only one of two Acadia campground available when we booked. The Seawall area is scenic -- definitely worth a visit. It's not as touristy as the other parts of the island though the flip side is that the main attractions are typically 45 minutes to... More

Unless you like small, crowded camp sites where tents have to be pitched on gravel, this place should be avoided. The sites are too close, allow no privacy and provide no grass. It is okay for a night or two if you want to hike locally, but make your appointment with the chiropractor before you leave. More
