We had a fantastic time, second time at the restaurant and first time staying at the hotel. We were upgraded to the Champagne and Shoes room and had an excellent meal with delicious champagne and the jacuzzi bath was fantastic! Staff were friendly and helpful and we had quick service. Prices are expensive but it was a treat and a... More

Got a “Groupon” voucher for my B'day. Did not know what to expect, as I have learnt not to judge by the photos published. Somehow they make places look much more appealing and of course the one, the very best room is advertised. First, the lack of directions made our journey by at least 30 minutes longer than necessary. We... More

Spent a night in the Champagne and Shoes room last weekend and had an amazing time, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Such a lovely atmosphere, the staff were very professional and attentive, the food was amazing and the suite was very cool. We dined in the A la carte restaurant, the food was cooked beautifully and the wine... More

My partner and I booked to stay in the Gentlemans Room for one evening. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member who checked us in, booked in our dinner and breakfast times and showed us straight to our room without delay. She advised us of the facilities around the room and presented us with our champagne, still... More

We have just arrived home having spent the night in the Champagne and Shoes room. What a great hotel and lovely people, very welcoming from the moment we arrived and were asked “do you want to see your room or have a drink first?” We went to the room and unpacked then did go back for a drink before going... We ended up here on a whim after wanting to go for ages and what a good decision it was! We turned up at half six on Wednesday night and got a deal without breakfast and champagne we could have the bollinger suite for 130 instead of 180, or champagne and shoes room for 180 Instead of 260! He showed... More

My partner and I stayed in the Bollinger suite. The room wasn't clean and I had to rinse the bath before using it, there was damp mold on the walls, no face cloths, no clock, sky box but no sky or all of the digi channels, bad view of mobile home and used fireworks, the grass outside the room was... My husband booked it as a surprise for my birthday and it is the first break we've had in over a year without the kids. Had a courtesy call in the morning to ask what time we'd arrive in the afternoon. This I was impressed by and we said we'd be there by 4pm. We arrived 15 mins early &... More

Tucked away in the Kentish countyside, this very charming 16th century inn with well designed interior/s and excellent staff. You are welcomed with a truly stunning aroma of fresh lilys and a warm welcome. The range of champagnes, wines and ales ....worth a visit on it's own.
