The Kiteschool set up at Eco-Dolphin was run by a very friendly Swiss couple, and I would recommend it to anyone. These guys have the best set up in the area and are reasonably priced in terms of lessons and rental. More

We spent 4 nights here. Wind was 24/7. Its a flat water location with some lovely glassy spots, loads of room, and typically a cross shore breeze howling through. You could throw a stone into the sea (at this time of writing the location on tripadvisor show the lodge to be inshore, not the case, its bang on the beach)... More

Went there with a group of friends end of May 2011, beginning of June. There are about 4 bungalows with a main restaurant where you'll have a breakfast/lunch/dinner. It was our first stop on our Sri Lanka round trip. It's an amazing place in the midle of nowhere. Just go there for relaxing, not for seeing things.
