European prices in Sri lanka, completely overpriced. The place is nice though and perfect for a kitesurfing holiday. Flat water lagoon and the ocean just meters away from the lagoon. Again the place is nothing of an"eco lodge" and the bungalows would be half the price anywhere else.
Set up is nice, food is also nice and the people there...

I have seen anything like it in Sri Lanka. The surroundings are breathtaking. I just stayed there for 1 night which was far too little time to take in the scenery. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. We were up the whole night(3.30 a.m) just playing carrom and chatting on the beach by a small bonfire...

The Kiteschool set up at Eco-Dolphin was run by a very friendly Swiss couple, and I would recommend it to anyone. These guys have the best set up in the area and are reasonably priced in terms of lessons and rental.

We spent 4 nights here. Wind was 24/7. Its a flat water location with some lovely glassy spots, loads of room, and typically a cross shore breeze howling through. You could throw a stone into the sea (at this time of writing the location on tripadvisor show the lodge to be inshore, not the case, its bang on the beach)...

Went there with a group of friends end of May 2011, beginning of June. There are about 4 bungalows with a main restaurant where you'll have a breakfast/lunch/dinner. There is nothing around, you can spend your day by relaxing on your long chairs, walk around and discover the surroundings or kitesurf all day!
The resort is located on the side...

It was our first stop on our Sri Lanka round trip. It's an amazing place in the midle of nowhere. Just go there for relaxing, not for seeing things. Do NOT use it as home-base for going to the Wilpattu National Park (a must see!) the ride to there just takes too long (approx 3 h for a single ride)....
