Four of us on a golf trip to Ireland landed in Ballyliffin in Donegal at Doherty's. The proprietors were very friendly, helpful and typically Irish in their kindness. The breakfasts were perfect to get us ready to play a round at the nearby golf course that had, without doubt, the friendliest people we met on the entire 8 day trip....

A great place to stay if you are playing Ballyliffin Golf Club, its so close. Very welcoming and a great breakfast. My friend left some clothes behind and it got sorted with minimum fuss. Will be back next time I play Ballyliffin.
Doherty's B & B in Ballyliffin is, as Mary Doherty put it, "a 7 iron from the golf course". Pretty strong 7 iron but she is literally next door. It was perfect for us-one minute from the village, clean and comfortable, well priced, and Mary is just as nice as you would want your hostess to be. Breakfast was terrific...
