We stayed in the "Tahi" apartment, and had friends staying in the "Whitu" apartment which was equally as charming! Both apartments exceeded our expectations with their size and character not to mention how immaculately clean. Sasha the manager is lovely and very passionate about Mangonui and the Far North. We stayed here for 2 nights, I wish it was longer! A beautiful 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the harbour, over 100 years old and really tastefully refurbished very recently. From the super friendly welcome right through to the brilliant room, this place has everything you could wish for. We stayed in room eight, which being by the laundry and a downstairs unit was probably the 'worst' room on offer and it was still just great.
