We spent 4 days here. Very generous in size, no expense spared in the build. Loved the bath with gorgeous glass house mountain view. Peaceful, private, & natural. We did some walks from the property, bike rides, (our own bikes) & went to the Kart track. All loads of fun. Lunches at Maleny, & Montville and spent cosy quiet evenings... More

This property is a unique contemporary design in a spectacular setting. We loved every minute of our stay here, with the ethanol flames viewed from the most unusual spa bath being one of the highlights. The breakfast supplies were much appreciated ( best bacon for many years ) and made even better when we were visited by a roo whilst... More

Until now my 2 favourite places to stay where at the Eco villages near Rawsley in the flinders ranges, at Japanese style house overlooking the Murray mouth and now no 3 ,Glass on Glass in the sunshine hinterland. We stayed for 4 nights between weekends, just after 22 days of solid rain and everything looked green. In the morning it... More

All I can say is wow how amazing. My partner and I decided to take a short break away from the stress of everyday life, and after spending hours researching the Sunshine Coast Hinterland I came across Glass on Glass House. When we arrived at Glass on Glass House at around 7.30pm we were greeted by the friendly owner. He... More

Many thanks for your kind review. We hired a fantastic local architect (Norman Richards) who's brief was "That the guest should go WOW when they walked in." He achieved this so well, that we hired him to design our own house, which is like a larger version of the cottages. And when you have such great Mountain views it makes... More

We can only say that Glass on Glasshouse was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, accommodation that we have stayed in and we were delighted with everything about it. The peace and tranquility was wonderful. The scenery outstanding. The amount of breakfast and fruits was overwhelming. Delightful too to see the kangaroos and wallabies so near to the... More

We're glad you enjoyed it so much. We tend to undersell ourselves on our web site, so that when guests arrive they are (nearly always) overwhelmed:) Many guests have said how much better the 'pods' are in real life than in the photos. More

A huge amount of effort has clearly gone into making this a quality destination getaway. Perfect for a romantic break. We would definitely recommend it. Only reasons for docking a star were: - the electric BBQ was a bit small and fiddly, gas would be better (but I know it's a pain to keep gas BBQ clean and can pose... More

I'm glad you said we were 'almost perfect', which is a great honour. If you'd said we were 'perfect' then that would have raised unrealistic excpectations! The WiFi is a work in progress. Because the cottages have steel frames, this inteferes with the signal. I've installed larger aerials on the router, and this has helped, but there's always room for... More

Judging from the names of parking spaces on the garage, the name of the pod on the left is Beerwah with Tibrogargan in the middle and Coonowrin on the right. We stayed in the Beerwah pod for one night during the week before Christmas when the Lookout Cafe was closed. It looked like it was going to rain, and there... More

Thank you for your good review, and it's a shame you could only stay for one night. Many of our overseas guests stay longer, which means they have more time to get used to the various and interesting sounds of the wildlife (in fact that's why many overseas visitors come here). At the moment there are a lot of Black... More

My fiance and myself just returned from our second stay at Glass on Glasshouse, this time for 5 nights. We had previously stayed 2 nights and that was more than enough for us to want to return, so we were back within 6 months. The cottages are beautiful, from the polished floors to the floor to ceiling glass walls over... More

Many thanks for your kind words. We get many guests who come for 1 or 2 days initially, and then return for 5 or more days later, which makes us very proud that we've created a place that guests love coming back to. More

We really loved the stylish designed cottage, embedded nicely into the landscape with a beautiful view on two of the glass mountains. When we arrived, kangaroos welcomed us in the garden. We liked the privacy and the silence (or better: all the sound from nature). We only booked for one night, but at the end we stayed two nights, because... More

It's great that you, who come from such a beautiful country as Switzerland, found our cottages "too beautiful to leave" and that you added another day onto your stay. We are honoured that you chose to start your Australian Adventure at the Glass House Mountains, and look forward to seeing you again in a year or so (once you've paid... More

The owner turned up dirty work shorts and was very strang. The property was messy with old buckets tools and rubbish all over the place. The room was nice however we stayed 4 days and had no service at all, breakfast after the second day was looking very average you would have thought for the 5 star price he could... More

We only have 3 cottages so we do everything ourselves, the marketing, greeting, cleaning and maintenance, -and the latter is a big job when it's summer and there's 20 acres of grass to mow (you can actually see it growing!). So if I'm a bit scruffy and dusty it'sbecause I'm working hard to keep the place looking good, and to... More
