We held a conference of about 200 people here and the hotel was on top of every little detail. Every hotel staff member was friendly and went out of their way to help. The food was amazing. We really wanted to make healthy choices easy and as a vegetarian and dietitian, my expectations were surpassed. The hotel has fruit infused... More

We spent 3 nights at the Tamaya Resort this May. The rooms was good, the food great, and the staff extremely pleasant. However, don't expect much from Housekeeping. Our maid service was perfunctory, at best. The bathroom was not well cleaned, nor was the rest of the room. We asked for turn-down service and never got it. I would stay... More

An overworked New Yorker goes to New Mexico and falls in love....with the scenery, the tranquility, and the friendly people! All of this was encompassed at the Tamaya Resort in Santa Ana Pueblo in New Mexico. The only word that comes to mind is special....this is a very special place. I first came here in July of 2007, shortly after... More

I had been to the Hyatt Tamaya in 2002 and 2004 on business meetings. I decided to return this spring with my sister for a "girl's getaway". The resort has held up well. The service was uniformly excellent from the front desk to the restaurants to the spa. The resort seemed to be at fairly low occupancy and as a... More

This resort is located in the middle of nowhere! Santa Fe is is 60 miles one way and Albuquerque 40 minutes the other way. It is surrounded by high dessert leading to mountains as far as the eye can see. So this is a great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing on site experience. But if... More

We stayed here for 3 days on a business convention but like many large hotels these days they fall just short of the mark at times being able to offer the service they claim to offer. Staff were welcoming and our room was ready when we arrived. Our room was pleasant, but not large, and we did have a 'view'... More

This property is a little off the beaten track, but it is just right for a family vacation. There are three outdoor pools: one for adults, one for the family, and one for young children. There are also wonderful trails to walk or to ride on with bikes available at the resort. Each day various activities are available for adults... More

Tamaya is unique. It's 5 star resort within the beauty of New Mexico. Since it's about half-way between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, you could use it for a base for either place, or for both. The Native American influence is strong. Great especially for families.

The staff is very pleasant and attentive, without being obsequious. The rooms are clean, but nothing special when it comes to high end hotel rooms. I've seen far better for the money. I was recently at this gorgeous southwest resort for a three day conference. I wish I had more time to enjoy the extensive facilities: swimming pools, spa, hot tub, fitness center, hiking trails, stables, tennis courts, gift shop, etc. I was in meetings from about 8:00 am to 7:00 pm but so glad my husband was able to relax and...
