If you want to get away from traditional mountain food - ie meat and cheese - there is only one option in the Beaufortain. We have been going to La Ferme for over five years and it never ceases to please and is a great break from traditional fare. The set menu at 29 euros is maybe a bit more... More

My wife and I stayed nine days at La Ferme du Chozal, together with my wife's 93-year-old mother, who had stayed there with a friend the summer before, and wanted to return. The three of us occupied two rooms on the same hallway; my mother-in-law getting the (only?) room in the hotel with a walk-in shower rather than a bathtub... More

Mégève has a few good restaurants, like the Flocon de Sel - and many expensive ones of no interest whatsoever. In the broader Savoie region, there are many tables serving decent local fare, quite a few serving "direct from Métro, I just microwaved this for you" industrial rubish, and a few really good places. This is one of them. The... More

We thank you for your review which we pass on to the entire staff to encourage them in their daily work. It is all a question of team work. We also take pride in using as many local products as possible. We wish you all the best and looking forward to having you with us again. More

This wonderful renovated mountain farm has not only the most confortable rooms beautifully decorated, but also the greatest chef of the area! You'll be surprised by the elegant and tasty dishes, full of inventiveness, but if you are more keen in typical dishes they are available. The wines are special too.Breakfast in the morning will be a surprise with homemade jams and juices, fresh pain... More

We stayed here in July 2011 for one night on a trip down the route des Alpes. Would have happily stayed for more - but they were full. The room we stayed in was a triple (double bed and bed for a child in the corner). It was small, but very cosy and welcoming with a very comfortable matress. The... More

Thls small hotel nestles on the hills overlooking Hauteluce, outdoor heated pool , sauna and even wifi. The owners want your stay to be exquisite and go out of their way to make sure of your welcome and nothing is too much for them. Food is beautifully presented and delicious. The stay was memorable and definitely want to return in... More

My family and I stayed at La Ferme du Chozal over the Christmas break and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are lovely (we stayed in a large double with an alcove with bunk beds for the children), but not large. What they lacked in size, they more than made up in charm. The bathroom was great with a bain-douche... More

Lovely location, although a bit isolated for side trips to Chamonix and Annecy--over an hour in each direction. We felt there would be faster more efficient route, but the owners were of no help. Our GPS system gave only the routes over many switchbacks and slow moving roads. While the hotel was charming, cozy, comfortable, and had great views, part... More
