We chose this hotel fairly randomly. It turned out to be a good choice. The village of Cooperstown is very small. Though this was off-season and we had no traffic nor congestion to worry about, if you're going to visit in-season, you may be someone who wants to be in the middle of everything...or not. If you want some distance... More

We stayed here for one night in February while visiting the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown. The property is located a few miles outside of Cooperstown but its only a short drive into town. There are also numerous youth baseball fields close by which I assume are used by youth teams from around the country. There are several fast... More

We stayed there just this past Presidents Day weekend. We check in, and the front desk gives us the wrong room... imagine my surprise to open the door and find someone laying in the bed. We got that straightened out, I'm trying to get up to the room and elevator was broken. It had to be "reset" in the basement.... More

We stayed here after Thanksgiving. Hotel was nice, clean and friendly staff. Pool was decent and my kids liked it. There was no wireless internet in the room so the Ipads and Itouch's did not work, keep that in mind if you stay there. There was internet, just not wireless in my room. Breakfast was nice, the pancake machine keep... More

We liked this hotel overall. Good location, clean, excellent service. Seems to be a lot of families that stay, so if a kid-filled atmosphere annoys you, don't stay here. There is a microwave in the room which is handy, but no refrigerator. There is ice, though. A supermarket and variety of fast-food places are in the next lot over. Breakfast... More

My husband and I visited Cooperstown on October 28, 2011, the last night of the World Series. Where else to watch the last game ? I picked this hotel as it was the closest of the "chain" hotels to town, but in reality they all are about the same distance away. The town was very empty due to the forecast... More

We stayed here for a weekend visit to the the Baseball Hall of Fame. The rooms were well-appointed and free breakfast provided variety and plenty to eat. More

Well here's my second part and I have some advice for the Holiday Inn. Families who come with kids should NOT be put on 2nd floor. All I heard was running back and forth at 11pm and then again at 7am. I think couples with NO kids should be on 2nd flr. As for breakfast it was good can't complain... More

Im here now in room 110 and just finished a 5 hour drive up to cooperstown from queens and the room is nice and clean. Went to pool and my 2 year old nephew had a blast. After getting into the shower to wash off the chlorine i couldnt help but notice mold in the corner where the tub is... More

This hotel was clean and fine for a night's rest when visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. The rate also was excellent. It does not have the charm of the B and Bs in town and you will need to drive your car to the town for shopping, dinner and the Hall of Fame visit. It is true that the... More
