If you are going to build a resort based on the concept that you want to be in harmony with nature, then do this : don't build a resort and leave nature how it was. Especially if the result is lame camping spots often with no shade and way too close to each other where you feel approximately 578 times... More

We had the non-powered Eco tent for 3 nights. We drove from Exmouth that day & arrived about sunset. Just in time to check in for dinner & swill down a couple of beers. Remembering that we had just snorkelled with Whale Sharks & Manta Rays in Coral Bay we are still ranking Karijini as the highlight of our 2... More

We stayed in a Deluxe Eco Tent with Ensuite for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Arriving around 6pm on the first night - just before dark - we were promptly checked in and booked to have dinner in the onsite restaurant. I would highly recommend the roo and steak - fantastic and the fact you can eat so... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. We had requested a shaded campsite in advance however this was not taken into account and we were assigned one in full sun all day. We found another site which had some shade and asked to move there. There were not many people there so we never had to wait long for the toilet/shower... More

Checked in on a Saturday afternoon and was welcomed by a really lovely receptionist and given a bit more info about the retreat and surrounding areas. We were offered dinner at the restaurant however had came prepared to use their BBQ facilities so were shown were they were. The tents were really lovely nice and spacious clean and a little... More

We travelled to Karijini Eco Resort on a whim when weather change our long weekend travel plans at the last minute. I had no idea what to expect and was amazed by the experience. Although very remote and basic, this resort really made our days hiking so much easier, as we have 2 small children. It was wonderful to be... More

Bec and Brad the manager's of the Karijini Eco retreat looked after us very well, and are very friendly. Loved our stay there and had no problem taking our rubbish away with us as it seems other people that are writing reviews do?! Seems silly - we knew we were staying at a national park, and what ever rules and... More

Karijini is remarkable. However this 'resort' has very poor customer service, requires people to take their rubbish with them (unlike any other national park) and basically offers little than can be expected at a national park site. The access road was EXTREMELY corrugated. Stay at the other campground in the park at Dales and save your money.

The resort was a wonderful surprise. The permanent tents were well located. Lots of curtained windows to let the air blow through. Really required as the temperatures are high. The vista's sitting on the deck were excellent. Took a while to get used to the frogs in the toilet though! The staff were friendly and helpful. If you need ice... More

Dear David KD We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Karijini Eco Retreat – and thank you for providing honest feedback and happy hints and tips to assist our future guests. The cute little frogs seem to enjoy the place too – they just won’t pay their account! We all agree that this is the ultimate base for... More
