On arrival the exterior looked very tired,and run down - weeds on the paths, peeling paint etc. Went to reception, receptionist was on the phone filing her nails and completely ignored us for a few minutes. We finally went to our room commenting that the hotel appeared to be empty and certainly gave the impression of being a "ghost hotel"....

The room is clean, good size. the breakfast was well provided. the waiter for lunch the first day we were there was a little pushy in trying to get us to get the prefix when we really were not interested in eating that much and it wasnt that high a quality. this is where the Italian olympic rowing team stayed...
