We decided to motorbike to Skye at very short notice on 20th April and I was lucky enough to discover that Garalapin House had a vacancy. Sam and Clive were very accomodating. “The only place to stay in Skye!”

To be honest there is no faults to be had at this B&B, easy to find, close to local town, great hosts,great food, very well kept and clean rooms. Excellent attention to detail/finishing touches. Maybe a small fridge to keep milk in for tea. But if you can manage a few days without that.... Will be back here! More

“Fantastic first trip to Skye”

Have just spent a week staying at Garalapin House - superb location and great family room - ideal for a family of four. Excellent facilities and great breakfast with eggs from their own chickens. Lots of lovely walks and views etc to take in - we even got to see two seals bobbing up and down in the sea. Amazing... More

We stayed at the Garalapin House in September after getting engaged on Skye. Sam and Clive were great hosts, our room was lovely and breakfast was delish. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Skye. More

Nice Room not-ensuite 10 minutes from Portree. The room was tidy and clean, Sam, the proprietoress very polite and the breakfast was excellent. I reccomend this place for your holyday on Isle of Skye, a beautiful place. Fabio & Simona More

Garalapin house is a quiet, relaxing place to spend some nights. Owners are nice and always trying to help guests in any task.
