Very nice place to stay when you’re travelling around Ireland! Rooms are cozy, view from the windows is fantastically peaceful and nice, and breakfast is delicious. But the most important is that Rita (the owner) is extremely friendly and hospitable. Although we arrived quite late and Rita was very busy because of high B&B’s occupancy she found a time to... I have just returned from 2 nights at the Armcashel or locally known as Morgans. We were a large party staying in 5 rooms to attend a family christening in town. The B&B was a warm, relaxing, welcoming place on the outskirts of town. Nearby you have all that you need including a chemist and supermarket and the bars and... More

We felt like family from the first greeting with innkeeper Rita. During the five nights our group of seven spent at her B&B, she always wanted to make sure that we had enough to eat at breakfast to last us through our seven hour hiking days, and then in the afternoons, she made tea and scones available. There were multiple... More

Rita was an indescribable host. We traveled throughout Ireland for over 2 weeks, and never found a better place. The food is delicious, the beds comfortable, you can mingle with others in the dining area if you wish, or have complete privacy. Your every need will be attended to. You are just up the road from town with a gorgeous... More

From travelling over Ireland during the month of June, we happened upon this establishment. There were no problems to report, but after reading the other reviews we were expecting more attention from our host. However the rooms were fine and the breakfast was nice. More

Warm wellcome, lovely tea, delicious breakfast and large and comfortable rooms... What else can you expect? If you ever want to see Ireland, other that the big tourist spots, Armcashel is your choice. Best quality at best price. More

Just back from visiting family, we stayed at Rita's for 2 nights. The B&B is in a lovely location...1o minutes walk from castlerea. Rooms are spacious and clean, and Rita cooks a lovely breakfast...there is no tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom, but rita is so accomodating, she will give you tea or coffee whenever you want one.. A... More

I stayed here during a business trip for 3 nights. It was a bitter week but Rita made sure the fire was on and the beds were warmed with hot water bottles every night. She had every bit of time to spare for us, recommending places to eat and ringing around to find opening times. Breakfast was especially delicious and... More
