i went here in July 2011 with Citalia. I could not fault the staff, the cleanliness etc. Food was terrible, really German orientated, although there was lots of food nothing was Italian food, I am married to an Italian and holiday in Calabria every year! I was really disappointed with the food, drinks were great although a lot of these... More

This is a perfect place for a family holiday, not so much if you are single. Nothing fancy, but a good place to stay close to the sea and with magnificent, big pools. I went with a friend with some problems to walk, and I must say it was not the ideal place for her. Because you really had to... More

Everything was very clean & in most cases the staff were very pleasant. No entertainment for adults but great for kids as the entertainment team were very infantile & liked shouting & applauding themselves as nobody else bothered apart from a few Germans who are strange anyway. If you're looking for Italian food this is not the place to come.A couple of... The Resort grounds and pools are lovely - but with an almost 90% German occupancy the food, entertainment and staff were all German orientated. It was such a shame as had been to Sardinia with Citalia last year and was looking forward to the fresh fruit and salad. Food a real let-down - tinned fruit and very little fresh. Salad... More

We first visited the Garden resort four years ago on the recommendation of friends and had a thoroughly enjoyable week, so much so that we wanted to return the following year, only to discover that Thomson's no longer offered the holiday, nor did any other tour operator. So we were delighted when we stumbled across the holiday being offered by... More

We chose this as it was a resort on offer and the all inclusive price worked out much cheaper for 4 of us than any other option. We're glad we did. Although the early flight was tough, it was all on time and the transfer time to the hotel of 15 mins was ideal with small children. The hotel is... More

Now called Rocco Nettuno Garden (not to be confused with the nearby Rocco Nettuno Tropea), this is an excellent place for a summer family break. Fantastic pools, a lovely walk through a pine "forest" to a pebbly beach, clean though basic rooms, and good eating options. The restaurants: these have come in for criticism on other reviews: we don't agree... More

This hotel was accurate to our "holiday needs", location, food, animation program, rooms, service, all was 4 from 5 in our ranking (except the cleanness of the sea) Hotel is mostly recommended for german speaking people (particulary english speaking), I met one animation guy speaking czech. Small buldings in beautiful garden (only 2 stocks) surrounding 2 pools, area is situated... More

Now called Rocco Nettuno Garden.I returned from the above holiday at the Rocco Nettuno Garden on 28th May,2011 a very disappointing two weeks. I would like to say that the gardens of the hotel were immaculate and beautifully kept. The standards of cleanliness were also excellent. what follows is is a list of what made my holiday such a negative... More

almost everything else will come as a disappointment unless you are from Germany and aged over 55. Also, if you have had an all inclusive holiday in Greece or Turkey you will find this hotel does not provide anything like the same value for money. We took our two children here for the half term and were pleased with the... More
