Passing through after going through Ripon, saw the 2 for 1 offer and thought we'd give it a try. Really good value for money. Pub itself really clean, warm and helpful staff. Good selection of hand pulled beers and plenty of selection on the menu. We often come to Ripon and will definitely be back here

Passed by this place and noticed 2 for1 sign. Went in and at first was a bit apprehensive as it wasn't busy. However couldn't have been more wrong. We ordered the braised steak and the stilton chicken which were both very nice and definitely worth the £10 all in price tag. The landlord and his wife were very welcoming too....

The Pub has had new managers in since March 2011 and it has taken a turn for the better.
The meals are 2 for 1 each evening main course and even the local sunday roast - its great value and even greater food. The landlord and lady are lovely and know their stuff!

Just passing by and saw the sign for two for £10.... didn't expect much, but what a surprise. Decent sized protions at fantastic price! The Food was lovely and the staff were really friendly. Plus we were there on Saturday night so had to partake in the karaoke. Will definately go back!
