I stayed here twice, both one-night stay, and both on work trips. The price is very good for a clean room with coffee & tea making facility, and ironing facility sent to your room. Lahad Datu is a very unappealing but you might have to stay here if you want to travel to Danum Valley. I booked Silam Dynasty as it seemed the best of a grim bunch. If you have to stay in Lahad Datu then this is probably the best of a bad bunch. Clean, safe (relatively) and, if you give the porter cash, they'll get you beer to your room! The staff are friendly, the room is new and clean. The bed is comfortable, a good hotel to stay. Free wifi and the speed is great. More
