Over the past 5 years I have been back to the UK twice a year for up to 6 weeks each trip. I try whenever possible to stay at pubs with guest rooms, of the pubs that I have found the Green Dragon has to be number one. What a great place! So full of character that anyone of average height or above will have to duck to avoid the ancient beams in the bedrooms. Not, I have to say, decorated to the highest standard but everywhere was scrupulously clean and who cares what the wallpaper looks like when there are all the other features to look at.... More
