Maison Chaudenay is a short distance from Beaune and in a very nice town with great restaurants. The owners who are Australian are very professional and run an immaculate B&B. We stayed before the season began and had the whole house to ourselves. All of the rooms are very nice and you would not go wrong with any that are... More

Just want to share that this is truly a special place made so by the kind and ever so helpful owners. Anne and Bruce went out of their way to make sure a friend and I had the perfect experience. The back field behind the barn is a really neat area to hang out, just take a blanket, relax, and... More

We stayed in the cottage of Maison Chaudenay for four days in August, and it was simply fantastic. This is a separate building on the central courtyard, with a kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs. All were well equipped and tastefully decorated, and the surroundings were quiet and beautiful. The proprietors are native English... More

After a couple of weeks on the road and staying in hotels we decided to get a self contained place so we could cook our own food. We stumbled across this place. FANTASTIC! Was such a cozy apartment, yet very large and roomy. Could have easily lived in it. The kitchen was very well equipped and the living area was... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Maison Chaudenay for our 1st wedding anniversary from the 5th Oct 2011 - 8th Oct 2011. It is a beautifully well decorated and maintaned property in a great location to explore Burgundy. The apartment was completely self contained and large - plenty of room for the 2 of us. Bruce and... Wonderful hosts and a great location to explore Burgundy. The gite we stayed in was very well equipped, the free internet access was a bonus and the array of literature of the area was very useful. My only negative comment would be, we stayed for 1 week and a change of bedlinen and fresh towels would have been nice. More

We stayed here in August 2011 with our 23 month old son and had a wonderful time. Such a beautiful picture perfect place to stay in Burgundy. We especially loved the bread being delivered in the morning. Great base for exploring the region. The accomodation was spacious and clean. Our son loved exploring in the gardens. I would strongly reccomend... More

We spent 3 delightful weeks at La Maison Chaudenay, staying in Le Pressoir, making daytrips to the many attractions in the area. Anne and Bruce were more than helpful in making our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. They went out of their way to help with a medical problem and a credit card emergency. Le pressoir has heaps of character,... More

We had a week here in July as a chance to explore the region and, very importantly, the wine of Burgundy. Bruce and Anne are exceedingly accommodating and welcoming. They are really helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay special. We stayed in the Pavillon cottage, with kitchen, living room and bathroom on the ground... More

We spent two weeks here with friends - it was a very relaxing time. The apartment was spacious, very well appointed and most comfortable. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Bruce and Anne went out of their way to be perfect hosts - we particularly enjoyed Bruce's helpful hints with the restaurants, vineyards and places of interest. The area is... More
