This is a marvellous part of the world. However you really would be much better off basing yourself in lovely Angaston (the least spoiled town in the Barossa - you are technically in the Eden Valley region, more rustic). The owner is very attached to the property. More

There are only two puny air conditioners - we were cold the whole time. It would be really hot here in summer as well. The bed was disappointing - lumpy. The plasma TV is tiny. The kitchen is well equipped though. It needs to be as you are a long way from town. Our tip - stay in Angaston -... More

Response - Jellicoe House has two reverse cycle Air conditioners which are very effective .The The house also has three oil fill heater and every bed has a electric blanket .Jellicoe House is is also insulated . All appliances are new and maintained .The mattresses are all high quality and there has not been a complaint up until now. The... More

Our group of 4 loved this house. We had really good communication with the owner prior to arrival and were really happy with our experience. The home is gorgeous. My daughter had her wedding here, the place was absolutely beautiful but the owner was an ingnorant and rude busy body. No peace and quiet with her around and she was around more than was necessary. Very intrusive, and because of that wouldnt stay there again. More
