Having used this hotel on many trips before, I was particularly dissapoined with my visit in May 2012. First of all the room had a distinct smell of drains i.e. from the bathroom/toilet. I complained and was given an air freshener as the hotel was full and no alternative room was available. Then dinner was a disaster although the food...

allthough this was not a "re-vamped" novotel .. the staff and service was very good, smell of smokers in one room was immediately resolved by desk staff and adjacent room to our kids was organised immediately (with renewed bathrooms) - Location is very easy to get and closeby highway, all in all positive experience,
Booked room for three people, third bed not made up, had to do it ourselves, only two towels for three people and lights not working on arrival. Reasonably clean and functional though room situated right at the back of the hotel along drab corridors. Ate in resturant, expensive, little choice and waited over one hour for our food.
We had an overnight stay in this hotel en-route to Italy and were extremely disappointed. The carpets are patched and badly stained, the decor is in urgent need of a clean-up and repainting, and the staff organisation was poor. We have stayed at other Novotels and been more than satisfied, but this place is a disgrace to the name. Would...

Just used this hotel as a stopover en route to and fro Northern Italy with Edwards Coaches (23rd & 29th September 2011). Comfortable rooms, although some friends were unlucky and had smoking rooms. The location was excellent for good road links, and had an excellent hypermarket - E Leclerc in the near vicinity - just across the main road of...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group on the way back from a classic car rally. I have to say that we were most disappointed with the whole experience. Granted the location was good but that was the only plus point.
Our room smelled of stale tobacco smoke and the other rooms they showed us were the...

a good motorway stop hotel, with big supermarket beside it for last minute shopping. Hotel looked like a motorway travellodge, but was clean and modern inside. The pool a little chilly, and the kids play area could do with a re-vamp. Nice enough service, evening meal was served warm, not hot, but they warmed it up again when we complained...

We stayed here on the way back from Italy to the UK. The location was good, not far from the motorway, although we had to travel into Metz central to find restaurants open on a Sunday evening. The room etc was fine but let down by the fact that there were no bath towels available. Two adults and two teens...
