We stayed 3 nights in May 2013 and had a very warm welcome. Maria is the soul of the place, very attentive to our needs and she made us feel at home straight away. She prepares a nice breakfast, whatever you want. The rooms and bathroom are very clean and practical. Nice terrace with a lovely view.

Where to begin? Be sure you have the correct Karavostasi as there is more than one in this region. You will know you have the right one by the warm smile from Maria and her husband Dimitri. Right from the beginning we felt our presence was welcomed. This is a lovely beachside location with the buildings made in the style... More

My wife and I spent almost a week at Elixirion in summer 2012 during a road trip in the Mani region. The photos can't capture the warmth of Maria's care and hospitality, the calm sounds of the water lapping beneath the breakfast patio, the scent of the air and the small details that make the rooms extra special. The prices... More

Our weekend at this small "Guest House" was a truly romantic experience. The building itself was traditional and we felt like we were staying in a small castle. We arrived late at night so didn't see our surroundings until we woke up to an incredible view - and a small beach right in front. The bed was amazing - apparently... More

We stayed for a couple of nights during a busy Bank Holiday. We were very warmly welcomed by Maria, the owner of this beautiful family run hotel. The hotel itself is situated by the beach offering a beautiful view of the small gulf and the neighbouring villages. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, equipped with a fantastic, amazingly relaxing... More

Great family owned hotel in a strategic spot for excursions all around Mani. Hotel is at a prime location on the Northern end of Limeni bay, secluded yet only 5 minutes car ride to the city of Areopoli. Great hospitality and service, amazing beds (amazing!). Breakfast is a delightful experience with Maria cooking all kinds of homemade pies and pastries... More

Having decided to spend this year's by-the-sea vacations at southern Peloponnese, we initially stayed for three days at the picturesque Kyparissi, then headed for a swim at the wonderful beach at Viglafia (opposite of Elafonissos island) followed by a delicious meal at the famous 'Neraida' tavern of St. Nicholas and, finally, set off for our journey towards the New Oitylo...
