We stayed in Estudio Dewa and had the most fantastic, much needed holiday. I highly recommend this villa/ hotel for a peaceful getaway. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too difficult for them to help you with, from car hire to finding an english adapter. The room was very clean and equipped with everything you needed. The... More

As i've said in the review title i'm a surfing Dad, my wife isn't interested and I haven't got my two year old daughter up on a board just yet. This presents a particular challenge when negotiating holiday destinations, I need to take the girls somewhere really rather nice to persuade my wife to come with me somewhere I can... More

We stayed in casa Mawar, a beautiful secluded house with a private garden and with stunning views on a volcano, from the patio and especially from the bed on the upperfloor. Our casa was specious and fully equiped, there was housekeeping every day except on sunday, we had clean towels once during our week stay. We stayed here in March,... More

Casa Tomaren is a really special place. A wonderful hybrid of hotel and villa accommodation in beautiful & very peaceful surroundings. You have lots of space and privacy if you want it but also the benefit of great advice and support from manager Nacho - who is absolutely exceptional! Contrary to the review we never felt abandoned - in fact... More

First off we loved the location and the property itself but felt nearly everything was just a little tired. I love independent hotels and places to stay. Invariably someone chooses to run a property because they have a passion for hospitality. Things are done differently but done well. Sadly I felt that this passion, as well as attention to detail,... First the positives - the whole development looks wonderful from outside - beautifully landscaped gardens and pool area (albeit that the pool was chilly in February!). It is clear that a lot of money has been spent in developing the site. But unfortunately... We arrived early afternoon as we had arranged, but no reception staff were present, just a chap... More

We stayed with Gabi and her family over the festive season this year. What a relaxing place for chilling out and escaping the horrors of travelling around snowbound Scotland! Our little apartment for 2 was more than adequate and was full of quaint touches as well as a flat screen and dvd set up for the evenings if required. Breakfast... More

Firstly you’ll need a car. The directions are good but this place is out of the way. Lanzarote is a small island so it’s not really a problem. The facts: The villas are spacious and well appointed a little rustic and perhaps needing a lick of paint in parts. The kitchen is well used and the rusty washing machine was... More

We are just back from spending 5 days relaxing in Casa Tomaren. If you are looking for a place to “get away from it all” and sample a bit of the wonderful island of Lanzarote away from the usual tourist locations then this is the place for you. It’s about a 20 – 25 minute drive from the airport and... More

Due to the reviews on tripadvisor I chose tomaren for a 1 week getaway retreat. And it was a really worthy stay! I made the reservation by internet and Gabi of Tomaren was so kind to arrange perfectly everything needed (car rental, etc.). The place is situated in the middle of the island in the beautiful landscape of Lanzarote. Everything... More
