Staying at Churchtown House has long been the exquisite prelude to our Wexford Opera Festival visits. It has provided an oasis of peace and quiet before the operatic delights begin. The Codys have been the most gracious and friendly of hosts: just thinking back to our time there makes us feel rested and relaxed. Why the past tense? Because a... More

Loved this little place very very clean, bed was a bit hard, breakfast good a little out of town but didn't matter, friendly hosts, felt like you were home in your own bedroom. We would return.

My wife and I have been staying regularly at Churchtown House for nigh on 20 years now, and have got to know Austin & Patricia Cody quite well. But the real reason why we've always stayed there on our journeys to and from Ireland is because of it's convenient situation, but principally because of it's peace and comfort. It's a... More

This is the perfect place to stay on your way in and out of Ireland when you take the ferry to/from Rossmare. It is just 10 minutes from the dock. Set back from a quiet country road on several acres, this restored home is absolutely beautiful. The home and rooms are immaculate. Nice quiet setting . Wonderful, friendly husband and... More

We stayed here for 1 night, having caught the afternoon ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare. The place is situated in magnificent grounds about 10 minutes drive from the ferry. The bedrooms and the entire property are spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast is provided by Austin & Patricia Cody, who are welcoming & friendly hosts. Parking is... Our stay at Churchtown House could not have been better. Churchtown House is superbly situated for anyone starting or ending a trip in Rosslare. It would however be doing it an injustice to simply see it as a good spot just if you are using the ferry. It stands very well on its own two feet. We arrived there after... More

The room attendents were like thieves, mobile phone stolen when room was locked. The Manager was cooperative but could not dictate the room attendents

Churchtown House sits in magnificent open grounds about three miles from Rosslare and its ferries to UK. The setting is wonderfully peaceful, the house approached via a long sweeping drive is fabulous, very welcoming and comfortable with an overall impression of quite a grand "Country House". The host, Douglas, was welcoming and exceptionally hospitable and helpful, offering tea, coffee and... More
