Jalsa Beach Hotel and Spa is a great place to stay if you want to relax most of the time during your vacation. It has an awesome private beach and the water is not too deep. The hotel has pedal boats and kayaks which you can use for free. The pool is awesome overlooking the beach and has a bar.... More

We have just returned from jalsa beech were we celebrated our honeymoon. We both enjoyed our time there, mauritius is such a brilliant place. I can't say anything about all the other hotels but we really enjoyed our time there. The best/oddest thing was the other guests. The hotel is only 66 rooms(which i think is a good size, as... More

The Jalsa Beach hotel and Spa is well worth a visit. Just got back from spending two weeks in Paradise. For me the food at lunch time was better but with a slow service. All the staff were superb ( thanks to you all ). Hopefully they will take up the criticism and make their beach as clean as the... More

Holiday booked with Mercury, 3 hour stopover in Dubai, good idea as it broke the journey. Emirates fantastic, could not fault any of the 4 flights. Collected Rupees at Mauritius airport (quick and east) and set off for Jalsa Beach in the pouring rain. Travelled with friends, just the 4 of us in a mini bus. The hotel is set... More

Jalsa Beach is the hidden Gem of Indian Ocean. Located on a private and quiet beach ideal for people wanting to relax and chill out. Yet,you have the flexibilty of action experiences eg Walking with the lions, swimming with Dolphins, underwater submarine you only have to arrange transport with the hotel .The price for daily car hire is reasonable and people are... So if possible do approach Seaside Holidays directly for a better rate. We stayed there from Feb 1st to Feb 8th (2012) for our honeymoon. Early check-in... More
