OK first of all we stayed at this chateau based on the reviews I read on this site. The positive reviews proved accurate. It was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. My partner works in the Luxury Hotel industry and even she was extremely impressed. Not perfect in every regard, but damn good, totally authentic and enjoyable. The owners are... More

This trip with 10 other friends was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. Being in Perigord making Chateau Siorac our home base was most comfortable, scenic, and as perfect as a European vacation could be. We had two meals by the owners, both wonderful, our group cooked for ourselves the remaining 7 evenings and felt as if we... More

The Chateau de Siorac was the perfect vacation home! Each living area was exactly what you would expect from a home built in the 1500's: enormous and lovely. Diana and Jose, the owners, are delightful and attentive to guests' every need. I recommend the Chateau to all!

Thirteen good friends descended on the Chateau de Siorac and used it as a base point to see the Perigord Region of France. From the moment we came through the front gates, we knew that this was going to a super week. Diana and Jose greeted us as their guests, gave us a tour, and provided us with the history... More

The Chateau was beautiful and well appointed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The beds were firm. The kitchen well-equipped. The owners were wonderful to work with. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Had an outstanding stay at the Chateau and the owners were gracious, fun and entertaining. The dinner prepared for us on our last night at the chateau was superb and remains a highlight of the trip. The chateau is a great blend of historic ambiance and modern conveniences where needed. The rooms were clean, HUGE, and very comfortable.

I was one of the eleven people previously mentioned, some of whom have already written reviews. I totally agree with all of their comments and would like to add some f my own. First of all, Jose and Diana could not have been more accommodating or more pleasant hosts. The Chateau is a marvellous mixture of old and new, absolutely... More

My family and I have just spent 3 weeks at Siorac. It was simply the best vacation ever. Highlights were too many to mention. Of course the region, the Perigord, is spectacular but in particular Jose and Diana were unfailingly helpful and delightful, accommodated our energetic children patiently and attended to every need large or small that we had. A... More

I was in a groupof 11 people who stayed at Chateau Siorac in July 2008. their 'glowing reports' are shown on this web site. I fully endorse all the very positive comments made. Dianne and Jose are superb hosts and make you feel at home, in their home. My comments below have a different perspective which I hope are helpful... More

If you want to stay somewhere very special & obviously loved by its owners, then Chateau Siorac is the place for you.The chateau itself has been lovingly restored by Jose & Diana to its former glory. The kitchen has everything to make life easy if you are self catering & there is enough room for 12 people to eat in... More
