Two nights in this lovely bed and breakfast with Annabel and Jean superb hosts. Very comfortable superking size bed, good size room with views over the garden and the countryside beyond and with a spacious en-suite shower room, larger than many four star hotels. First class breakfast, wonderfully cooked. Would stay again when in the area.

Stayed two nights at Polgreen, and were delighted to find a beautifully clean, light, bright spacious room with superking size bed. The hosts Annabel and Jean could not do enough for us, (chilling tins of G&T and giving us glasses with ice and lemon! to say the least) breakfast was delicious and they gave excellent recommendations for both places to... We have just returned from our third stay at Polgreen and it was just as good as always. Our room was spotlessly clean and Jean's breakfasts are delicious ! Annabel and Jean are the perfect hosts and give great tips of places to visit, local restaurants and pubs and walks. It's a good base for visiting the Eden Project and... More

My wife and I stayed here on the 13th and 14th November. Can't fault it. The bedroom was a good size with a very comfortable bed and good en-suite. There was a good choice for breakfast and it has been a long time since I had such good eggs and bacon. Annabell and Jean made us feel very welcome.

Very homely rooms and nice outdoor space. The owners provided a warm welcome and were actually very kind throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and you sat round a table with the other guests so it was nice to chat with others and get some tips about where to go etc. We used it as a base to visit the... More

Being new to the B&B experience, I can honestly say Annabel and Jean have set a high standard, one in which will be difficult to replicate. From the moment we walked in they were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The rooms are clean and light, overlooking the picturesque landscape and help you immediately immerse yourself in the... More

As a base for visiting the Eden Project and Heligan, we stayed for two nights in September 2012 and found this guest house to be absolutely delightful. It is the little things that make so much difference, like a choice of pillow and duvet and chocolates on the room tea and coffee tray. The room was spotless and the view... More
