We stayed one night at The Clos de la Garenne on the back of all the good reviews. I found it difficult to book as the reception is only open during the day time and the Restaurant staff who are covering during the evening do have a serious lack of knowledge of what is going on and end up appearing... This hotel is clean and pleasant and is reasonably priced but the staff seem to play at being hotel staff. Perhaps it was our proximity to the private quaters of the owners but it's not a good idea to have toddlers mixing with guests in busy diding rooms and guests next to rooms where the youngsters cry and scream.
