We have stayed in Vilavita two years in a row, the second time for three nights, which I think it the biggest praise I can give them. Juodkrante is a fantastic place to stay, if you enjoy nature - forest, beach and sea, and has lovely restaurants, all in walking distance from Vilavita. You can have the sea-view accommodation, I would totally recommend getting rooms with the small terrace. Breakfast is served, they have a choice of warm courses and all food is good plus the portions are big enough. The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is really friendly and attentive, and are happy to rent bikes for you if you would like. All in all, a house I will gladly return to.

The manager is very friendly, you get a familylike feeling and at the same time you havw your privacy. Breakfast was very good and adjusted to your needs. Place is very peaceful and quiet and has a good view to the ocean. The curtains have been to transparent: Too much light comes in in summer. At the same time the room might be visible to the outside, when lights are switched on.

Lovely small village and lovely small hotel. It fits my expectations completely and I found peace and great people. The location is very good and allow you to be close to sea and lagoon. Food is moderate, only bat and no restourant. So plan to go out for dinner. Room is big, clean and cosy Defenitely recommendable place to stay

A very quiet hotel, with extremely friendly staff. Our room had a terrasse with sea view. Extremely thin curtains, and the room was facing the morning sun, so for us it was almost impossible to get back to sleep after 5 in the morning!

I have no idea why this place is not listed among the restaurants in Juodkrante, since it is a rather good option when looking for a place to eat. Rather quiet, and with good food at modest prices. It is also a good place to take children, since they serve ice cream that is far more lavish than you will get in any of the other restaurants. Probably a good place to stay as well.

We didn't stay at the hotel but just stopped for launch while passing by. And enjoyed our meals very much. Waitresses were absolutely excellent giving highest rate of service. Food was very fresh and very well cooked. Next time would definitely book hotel as well.

Very tidy and lovely hotel, situated near the coast and dunes and only couple minutes walk from some core visit sites. Helpful staff and great clean rooms for the price. Vilavita has also a lovely restaurant downstairs to enjoy good food and time. Big plus, they also allowed to bring together out dog so we were very happy. Free car parking is available next to hotel as well. Only area to improve, WiFi could be available for free for all hotel guests, but that is minor thing to notice.

I stayed in Vilavita at the end of May when official peak season is not started yet and actually place was officially closed and for us was opened just because we had big group of people and also we hold our seminar there. So business trip. Location - can't bring up anything special. The whole island is filled with nice little buildings and especially Juodkrante. Some mates said that in Nida (what is more in south) has bigger hotels also. Rooms - I stayed on 1st floor room no.3 what was twin room. Rooms wasn't very spacious but I didn't expect any extra room cause it was only place for sleeping. Bathroom was ok. Food - breakfast was very simple, some sausages and sandwiches, nothing more. But again, I didn't expect anything special. Out group also took launch and it was also ok. Especially I liked dessert - some kind of "brownie-like" cake. See my pictures to get the idea. Staff - I only saw one guy during check-in and 2 girls from kitchen. The guy was very helpful, provided me some pills as I have stomach-ache. Facilities - didn't consumed any. There were some bikes for rent. The seminar room was the same room where we ate breakfast. The layout is not very good for seminar if you also want to show something on the wall (from projector). Overall - I'd visit this island next time for sure but I'd choose some other place just for a change. There were some much beautiful houses and I'd like to try them all :)

We stayed in this guesthouse for two nights in August 2013. The room was very light and clean. It was upstairs and had a pitched roof. Everything appeared to be fairly new. The house itself had a very warm and pleasant atmosphere and the staff was very helpful when we were looking for places to go and do.We had free WiFi in the restaurant but not in the room. The breakfast was really good. It was freshly prepaired. The location is very good, outside of busy Nida, it has a few restaurants within walking distance. There are some nice walks closeby, for example along the promenade and through the forrest. We were very happy with everything.
