Firstly, you cannot see Mt Fuji from this hotel because it is tucked behind mountains. BUT, you can use bicycles to cycle around the lake and see it within 10mins. There are no shops, cafes or restaurants in Asiwada's little corner of Lake Kawaguchi, so you are captive to their bizarre restaurant hours. The food is good and cheap, but... More

A top hotel near Mt Fuji. The staff were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. We even got up graded from a western twin room to their best Japanese room, at no extra cost! When leaving, we were driven to the station by one of the staff in his car, instead... More
