It is truly authentic Japanese experience, starting from the moment you arrive with a lovely old Japanese member of staff halting the traffic with a yellow flag so that you can cross safely, until the end where you receive a many course, don't know what I was eating, but it tasted fantastic breakfast the following day.... This hotel had complementary transport from Kawaguchiko train station and the reception was very welcoming and we were able to access our room imediately on check-in.
