We spend 1 night in Roopam Resort to visit the Big Jain Temple. We liked the resort. We had a big room and bathroom, althoug they were basic. The terrace in front of the room is perfect to have a nice drink and read a bit... Breakfast and dinner were good . Staff is very friendly. We would recommend Roopam... More

This is a nice and calm resort in a fantastic location. Service was top notch. Rooms are well done up and very reasonably priced. Food was delicious and the manager's / staff on duty were always very welcoming. Certainly will be back in the future and make an all out recommendation to all travelers out there. True gem.

Very convenient location in a quiet forested area and only a 20 minute walk to the amazing Jain temple. We visited in November and the climate was cool and pleasant. Our room was small but comfortable and the bathroom clean and functional with a pleasant balcony to sit and watch the monkeys in the evenings and mornings. Buffet lunch was... More

Having changed our itinerary at the last moment, we arrived at Roopam with no booking, late in the afternoon. The grounds are pleasant and dotted with a few clusters of rooms. Nice gardens. Quiet at night. Some double storey rooms with small verandah, the one we chose was on the ground floor. Our room was around 1500/- for a double.... More

Bathroom appeared to have not been cleaned, in a partially renovated state with old faucet still in wall. Decent deck in front of room to sit on. Quiet since nothing to do in the area, though possible to walk to the temples in about 1 hour turning left on the road from the hotel. Nice green surroundings though.

The resort accommodation fit my budget and so I had booked this place for an over night stay at Ranakpur. The positives: - big spacious rooms - big bathrooms with hot water right from 6:30AM - comfortable beds - lovely scenery with a beautiful garden - one enthusiastic and friendly dog that would insist on checking you out ;-) The... The property itself is decent. Small, quiet area. Rooms are fine. The problem was with the hotel manager. My friends and I decided to leave the hotel for dinner with our driver (on a tour). The hotel manager followed us, immediately began to yell at the Indian men who had prepared food for us, and threatened to call the police.... More

Somewhere between Udaipur and Jodhpur lies Ranekhpur, home to the most magnificent Jain temple we’ve seen on our trip. Absolutely worth visiting. The tranquility of this place is so different from the busy Indian cities. We stayed here on November 14, 2011. Our rating would be “average to good” actually. The hotel has nice, clean rooms but the bath room... More
