Nivant is the best resort with excellent view , service , food and facilities. Rates are moderate and not high.We enjoyed there. Nice climate as we visited during rainy season , much fog around the resort and raindrops makes feel best.

Before you choose your hotel know your objective. If it is kaas plateau or weekend in rainy season then Nivant Resort is the best option. Location is great for Kaas just 20 minutes drive. valley view is beautiful... Infact all rooms have valley view... The rooms are clean and hygienic. Food is reasonably good. Terrace restaurant is nice overlooking the... More

The hotel has a scenic location (not very far from the famous Kas valley of flowers) and serves reasonably good food; but it is not as quiet as its name suggests. This is because all rooms of this two-storey hotel open onto a terrace which serves as the outdoor section of the in-house restaurant and the hubbub invades the room,... More

We stayed here for 1 night in Sep '12. The point of the trip was to visit the Kaas plateau for flower watching & for that purpose, this hotel is very conveniently located. Cons: It was not very clean. The blankets given were stinking very badly. The bathroom was dirty: was not cleaned in who-knows-how-much-time. There were dead moths littered... More

We had been here for our wedding anniversary. The hotel was well equipped to specially decorate our room to make the occassion extra special. The location is excellent accompanied by good food & service. Site seeing like Kaas Pathar and Bamnoli lake, Forts, Temples is good. We travelled in Nov-2012 but my suggestion would be to travel in September to enjoy... More

Happened to stay in this small but beautifully located place on the Satara Kaas road - Great views from all the rooms and restaurant. Rooms are basic and small so I guess they are charging for the views - Service is good and the owner is a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman. Could do with better housekeeping however !

Well I had traveled to Satara during the blooming season of flowers. Even being a very busy season, the management took a good care of me. I reached 6 hours before check in, I was not charged extra for that, instead they told me to be comfortable in the reception area. Being a solo woman traveler, and reaching at wee... More

We stayed at nivant hill resort in the first week of October 2012. This hotel is strategically placed on a hill to give you the best view of satara and its closest to the breathtaking Kaas Plateau. Prakuti resort is the only other resort in its vicinity, but does not offer you the wonderful view that Nivant does. The rooms... More
