A great find the Eskdale Hotel, Langholm. A warm welcome awaited us from the Hosts and nothing was too much trouble........an excellent stay indeed. I can thoroughly recommend the food in particular the homemade Soups. In the words of Arnie “I'll be back”.

I spent a weekend at this hotel with friends and was impressed with everything about it. The rooms, service and especially the food were top class. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for the sheer character alone. Myself and my partner are seriously considering booking this hotel for our wedding as the facilities are top rate.

New owners about eight months ago. First visit since. Excellent reasonably proced food; friendly staff, and a complete transformation. Well worth a visit. Nice to have our local watering hole back! It is an ideal location for a fishing ofr sporting holiday, and suitable for a family too.
