Great value for money. Nice and quiet and we enjoyed our stay.
Only negative I can say is that the towels and toilet roll weren't replaced after the first night.
Would stay here again

The restaurant attached to the hotel has a decent dinner menu selection. The staff are really quite friendly. Problem is that unless you want a breakfast box in the morning, there is nothing else on offer as the restaurant does not open early. Stayed in room 16 and no surprise, Travelodge haven't spent anything here on repairs. The electric razor...

We have frequented this establishment many times, both as a couple and also with the whole family. We have also visited here for a Christmas get-together on 3 previous occasions. It is very cosy and the meals are usually of decent quality. Ok, that's the positives out of the way, now some home truths. This is a pub where queing...

We stayed here to split our long journey from Scotland to Norfolk in half. On arrival you would tell it was a travelodge if it wasnt for the "travelodge " signs.
On our walk up to reception there was a field next to the reception with 2 lovely horses in which was a nice welcome.
The receptionist ( Lady, sorry...

Nice cozy room, but woken at 3am with a film crew right outside our window while they shot a movie, Noise all through the night and morning until we ended up leaving. Should have warned us or at least put us in a room at the back of the hotel. Pub a short walk away was better than the one...

Just returned from a stay at the Travelodge (Chester- le- Street) First class position 15min on the bus takes you to the heart of Durham. There is a joining pub to the lodge which makes it really good for meals knowing you don't have to drive. The lodge is new with nice rooms inc TV.

what a lovely travellodge, felt more like a "proper hotel" we had a family room and not cramped at all. nice and clean and real beds for the kids not just a padded sofa. next door the food was lovely and staff helpful all round a lovely stay!!

Stayed here overnight for business purposes and it's location. Relatively clean, with the usual travelodge features. Only cost 12 quid (special deal). Nothing special about the stay but nothing to really grumble about. Ideal for it's proximity to business venue. The only slight issue was that it took the night porter about 10 mins to answer the front door.

This was a FAB Hotel. We stayed here over night on out way to Glasgow. We booked 4 x Breakfast Bags, which were not great, but no problem. We paid a tenner for the night.
The hotel has an ajoining pub with great food, friendly staff, pity they don't do a breakfast menu, that would have been a complete package.
