went to gorumara national park this winter. We had a booking for a cottage and finally didn't end up getting the cottage we booked and finally had to end up in a room. then we were asked to move into a different room on the next day of our stay.no room service.looks great from outside but service is bad...horrible actually!... More

“Decent place to stay in Gorumara”

I stayed at Green Castle for two nights in their Jumbo / Presidential Suite and the stay was warm and comfortable.Manager has contact with tour coordinator who at a commision (Rs 300) organises the Gypsy ride inside the jungle..JatraProsad watchtower is the best point where we got to see elephant,rhino bison and few deers. From outside it may look great, but as one checks in not all and everything seems to be good and correct. I booked 2 AC DB rooms@ Rs1500 + taxes for my family, where the toilet is an indication of the attitude of the proprietor. An well built person will find it difficult to have his/her purposes served in such... More

Just back from my Dooars tour. We stayed first two night at -The Green Castle, Hatihana which is quite good. The rooms are spacious and it has all the facilities like LCD TV, Mini Fridge, Room Heater, hot & cold water supply, intercom. The room service is good and the food was also good. More
