This is certainly a value hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff with limited english, reasonable food and a good location. We stayed 3 nights and found everything more than acceptable, and at 600 baht per night including breakfast it represented good value. It is unfortunate that this hotel was never kept up, as it is in such a great location. How disappointing it is that I chose to sleep in my clothing and not shower due to the low standard of hygiene. The Mai Thai hotel in Roi et offers good clean accommodation at a very reasonable price (around 600 baht per room when we stayed there).
