Vimmerby Sweden is a quaint little tourist town off the beaten path. It was a nice surprise to discover such a beautiful village hotel in the heart of restaurants and shopping. The hotel was comfortable and inviting. The breakfast buffet was filled with a lot of food choices which were all very tasty.

The hotel is right on the town square with a lovely terrace. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and breakfast offers a great variety. We stayed in this hotel two night with my family in July. This hotel is near five minutes by car to Astrid Lindgren World. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The hotel is located in the town center and it has a good restaurant.

This hotel is beautiful on the outside and is located on the central square in Vimmerby. Garageparking is free of charge if you're a guest on the hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights between 23rd and 26th January. I found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially at the reception and in the restaurant/bar. The rooms have recently undergone a refurbishment, and are comfortable. I was a lone traveller in a double room, but think the rooms would be a squeeze with two adults.... More

We stayed at the hotel in conjunction to a visit at the Astrid Lindgren World. The hotel is well adopted to manage family visitor. There are spacey family rooms with comfortable beds. The stay was rather expensive. For dinner there is children buffet available to a favourable price. Breakfast was simple but generous. Internet connection was not working very well.

The hotel is definitely overpriced for its level of standard. I paid 1400 SEK, but the small room that we got on a hotel with this kind of standard should be below 1000 SEK. Newly renovated rooms, at least on 2nd floor. Small rooms but neat and clean (new paint). The mix is partly old interior (dated) and new tv, lamps beds etc. and brand new bathrooms. Can still smell the paint :-) Noisy minibars - can be disconnected at night ! The hotel-restaurant is terrible. Food is eatable.The place is Quite dirty though.... More
