Smogen is a typical seaside village in beautiful surroundings. The hotel is close to the sea, but does not have seaview from the rooms. Rooms were big and clean. Enjoyed a swim in the pool, and relaxing at the terrace. Slow service in the restaurant, but on holiday we don't have to rush...:)

We had high expectations for this hotel considering the high price tag. We were disappointed, especially with the room. No sea views for any of the hotel rooms. The only sea view is from the terrace, which was nice, but nothing more special than that. The surrounding area was lovely though.

The main building of Smögen Havsbad is a beautiful old building from the outside. Indoors it has a relatively modern/plain restaurant and a swimming pool/jaccuzzi area. Spent a weekend here with my wife to enjoy their spa. Although the spa menu is nice, we didn't quite feel good value for money. The hotel is nice, but you pay a lot for the location, which is perfect. Rooms are OK and clean, but not 4 star. Excellent SPA facilities. Fantastic breakfast. Very nice reception staff. The only issue is the attitude of the bar/restaurant staff, which is among the worst I ever have experienced.
