We stayed 3 nights over the long weekend in September in 2 Lake side suites. A vast improvement on the cleanliness of the rooms since a year ago, which was a pleasant surprise! Service in the bar has also improved with a better bar menu. Staff is friendly and we felt welcome. Will return!

My wife and I just had a great romantic weekend at Kloppenheim. Food was good, service was great and you can see the Gooderson group is sorting out the place. One of the best views in Mpumalanga from our Lakeside suite! Can reccommend this gem to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.

I stayed with my family and what a experience. Friendly staff. Kept our children entertained and Had easter egg hunts and Jumping castle. Looked after us and we will be back Bar Menu is a Must and the Table de Hote menu changed everyday. Kept your taste buds buzzing.

We arrived to realise that there are about a hand full of people during the busy holiday season in the resort. During dinner we were the only people in the lovely decorated dining room. items on the menu were not available, the service was poor, walls under windows in suite were peeling with damp, couldnt open cabinet doors to get to bar fridge. public lounge furniture is dirty and shabby and you could trip on carpet on stairs leading to dark dingy bar. It is a lovely stone building but it needs refurbishment and their service was really, really bad. I got a sense that they had too little staff and that client satisfaction was not high on their priority list. I will not visit this venue again.
