Tom an Liz were very friendly and the house is warm an comfortable. The woodburner was lit to make us comfortable for the evening and it was smashing. We were too late to book one of the home cooked meals so went into the village to the Whistle Stop, for an excellent meal. |I was sorry not to be staying... More

In all we've stayed at Cromasaig 6 or 7 times over the last 10 years usually for between 3 and 5 nights. We have always been made very welcome and every comfort has been provided. It very much feels like going home. Tom and Liz Forrest are both interesting and caring hosts who encourage their visitors to enjoy the outstanding... More

I booked to stay at this B&B as it looked nice and took dogs. Little did I know how homaphobic the owners are. They state that they are very friendly and welcoming. Initially after the frist confirmation email that we had successfuly booked a room I was asked the name of my husband and dog. In my reply I advised... More

This was my 10th visit to this superbe Bed and Breakfast .There is a warm welcome from the hosts and a log burning stove in the guests' living room with lots to read in the evenings. The rooms are well appointed with separate private bathrooms .Tom has been a very experienced mountaineer and prints out a weather forecast every day for... The hospitality at Cromasaig House was excellent. The value was terrific, esp for a solo traveller as they do not charge the usual penalising supplement for single occupancy. The host and hostess here are both knowledgeable and helpful about the local area and Scotland more generally (besides other topics). The scenery in this area is stupendous and the birdlife cultivated... More

The surrounding area is majestic and the Cromasaig generally represents good value for the money. I don't think the rooms have a radio or TV, at least mine didn't. Tom and Liz do their very best to provide a good service. They are both nice people and I would recommend this accommodation to any nationality other than Americans. I am... More

Very relaxing to use lounge in evening, with plenty of reading matter to choose from. Hosts extremely friendly & helpful - great stories and ideas for walking routes from... More

I had been looking forward to my stay in this B+B, as a regular traveller to the area, I enjoy a good B+B just as much as the local scenery. Unfortunately on my visit to Cromasaig, my trip was nearly destroyed by the rude nature of the B+B staff/owners. I found (whom i believe to be Tom) extremely rude, completely... More

This place beats staying in a hostel, hands down. If you're traveling with friends or your family, 30 quid a night per person might seem a bit steep for just one room, but considering that this price includes the use of an actual bathroom, free wireless internet, and a hearty, well-cooked breakfast, it's really not bad at all. Tom and... More
