We got lost trying to find this lovely farm. Beautiful location with wonderful hosts. We wandered around the farm and were treated to horse training in progress. The farm was perfect for us since we had falconry classes next door in the morning. You must check out Phoenix Falconry! Not only were the hosts helpful and directed us to a... More

Our day of touring ended with our arrival at the only real disappointment of the trip… Easterton Farm B&B. (The photos below were taken shortly after we got into our room and the next morning.) We knew we were in trouble when we asked the male owner where the guest lounge was. He snarked, “This isn’t one of your American... More

I have stayed in many B&B's over the years and this has been the worst yet. the bedroom carpet was very stained (which is always a worrying first sign), the shower wasn't cleaned from the previous guests. The wardrobe was full of the owners belongings pants an all !! The beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets in my bed... More

I have received one previous poor review which had some justification. I have profusely apologised and offered a free return. I will not be doing so in this case. In 15 years I have not received any complaints about the beds. Linen is ALWAYS washed and ironed between guests! All meat is sourced from the local butcher who in turn... More

We stayed at Easterton with our two teenagers in the family room last night. The room had plenty of space and a large bathroom. The tea and coffee facilities in the room were great after a long drive. we were welcomed by Mr HUnt who showed us our room etc as Ann was busy preparing a horse for a side... More

I can only imagine that service at this B&B has declined since it was assessed by the Scottish tourist board. Our experience was consistently poor, from when we were greeted at the door by a host who had forgotten we were coming, to our late and spartan 'full breakfast' the next morning – and it didn't come cheap either, at... I have just read the review regarding 'consistently unwelcoming and poor service' and wish to apologise profusely to the couple concerned for a dip in our usual service. There is no excuse that I can give to mitigate the fact that I had forgotten the booking, except my husband was away and somehow I missed the entry in the diary.... More

Excellent, friendly service, spacious, clean room with great facilities. Peaceful, tranquil setting with views of wild deer from the dining room! Lovely breakfast. Excellent B & B for horses too, we took our two with us and they had a great time

This B&B is directly opposite Gleneagles hotel and golf course and is set within the 250 acre farm. The family room was very spacious with a lovely en suite bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming to our family while we were travelling from John o Groats to land's End (husband on his bike, 2 boys aged 4 and... More

Peter & Ann Hunt run this B & B. We visited in the summer 2005. It is clean and a great value. We were a family of four (in their "family room") and had plenty of space and the bathroom was very nice & spacious as well (we didn't find this often in our trip to Europe!). There are also... More
