We wanted a cosy feel about staying away, what we recieved was truly unexpected, amazing location, amazing service, its rare to find a place that makes you feel more at home than your own home, were returning in 3 weeks.. “Second stay, lovely as ever.”

This was our second stay at the Old Hall Country House, again, an amazing lovely place to stay. Gary and Simon are brilliant hosts. Lovely breakfast (try the eggs benedict). The rooms, gardens, everything about this place is just perfect and we'll definitely be going again. More

“Absolutely perfect”

This hotel surpassed all our expectations. We had read all the wonderful reviews, but couldn't believe how amazing this hotel was. We stayed in the largest and most luxury bedroom, and it was well worth the extra money. The house and grounds are beautiful. Gary and Simon were both wonderful hosts. I can't wait to return. More

“Fantastic”

If you get the chance -go. Simon was a superb host, the Charles 11 room was excellent and the bed was just dreamy, as was the tub and shower. All it needed was a Michellin star restaurant and life would have been purrrfect. Thanks very much Simon More

Booked the Charles II room and it was all we expected. Lovely room and furnishings, could not have asked for more. Simon's hospitality was five star, would recommend the hotel to anyone, you won't be disappointed. Breakfast was superb and served beautifully. More
